The course provides an understanding of how to create a sustainable IT infrastructure of the company through key processes responsible for its control and change. Such approach can significantly minimize the adverse consequences connected with changes in the IT infrastructure.

Course “ITIL RCV v3: Release, Control and Validation” consists of two parts:

  • Release, Control and Validation: IT-processes Practice. Configuration and Service Assets Management, Change Management, Release and Deployment Management (4 days)
  • Release, Control and Validation. IT-processes Practice. Validation and Testing Management, Evaluation, Knowledge management, Service Request Fulfillment Management (2 days)

The course describes how the combination of ITIL processes allows effectively managing, organizing and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure.

The course is saturated with practical exercises on the study and practical application of standards, drawing up forms of documents and regulations of processes and procedures. During the course, it is possible to demonstrate the use of one of the software products in action: HP OpenView Service Desk.

Audience

The course is recommended to all employees who control the state of IT infrastructure, make changes in IT infrastructure, and also make decisions about the expedience of such changes.

Prerequisites

For effective training at the course, it is strongly recommended to take a preliminary course “ITIL v3 Fundamentals” or have the knowledge in the scope of this course. As well as work experience in any technical support and / or management of the service is necessary.
